Quite frankly, our neighborhood group was not surprised to hear that he fell from grace. He never quite "got" us, what we needed, what we were saying. We were not impressed with his service at all. He was just another opportunity for frustration with Youngstown's public servants. He should not have been rewarded with the job in the AG's office.

Jay, Pay Rick Alli... it's His Money...Cut the Bull!

I think that the Youngstown Community is still very proud of Rick Alli and is honored to have had his out front representation for crime control over the years.  This Jay Williams' delay in his receiving a severance check is embarrassing for us all.

Dude, the man is a 30 year Veteran of the Youngstown Police Department!...Rick Alli was on the job protecting you when you were in Jr. High School picking your nose...To hold his severance check like you are doing is a very weak and small minded move.

SHOW HIM SOME R E S P E C T!

Give the Man his dough Jay...Don't you think he needs it Right Now.  There is no need to wait on any ruling from the Ohio Ethics Commission; Jay can cut Rick Alli's severance check today.

A Lot of City Voters Love Rick Alli!...Jay don't Blow a Clear Shot at Re-Election.

I have never met Rick Alli but some things are Just Dumb and this is a Stinky Smelly Dumb thing to do!

TV 21.com [story]
Ousted Ohio Director of Law Enforcement Rick Alli filed two grievances against the city of Youngstown for delaying his severance check.
Alli was fired from his state job for continuing to receive checks from the Youngstown Police Department.
The city Board of Control is delaying Alli's 29-thousand dollar severance payment until the state Ethics Commission rules on his case.
Alli says the denial violates his rights and the police contract.
