Fireworks In Youngstown

[Why?Town]

I'm pretty sure state law says fireworks are legal to buy in Ohio but are supposed to be taken out of state within 48 hrs to be used.

I'm not sure why any city would feel the need to create their own laws on fireworks but I wouldn't be surprised if Youngstown (or any city) did just that.

I also wouldn't be surprised if the city, or it's police, just ignored both the state, and their own laws regarding fireworks.

Are fireworks still illegal in the City of Youngstown?

I wonder if the Youngstown Police ever ticket anyone for shooting off private fireworks in the city.
