Downtown Avalon Closed

Pizza was good....I always found the service to be lacking......They should let employees know as soon as possible that they are closing.....

When the Avalon on Belmont Avenue closed, two restaurants claimed to have the original pizza recipe. 

In my opinion, the Avalon Downtown's pizza was more like the Belmont Avenue Avalon's pizza.

In was planning to have lunch at the Downtown Avalon today until I read

of its abrupt closing on the WKBN website.  Does any forum member have

more information on this development?
