Another south side business closes

All of the old Brown Derby Road House signs were removed from the building today.

The Brown Derby Road House is closed? 

Geez....prior to leaving Youngstown in 1988, I worked there for six and a
half years...back when it was just the "Brown Derby".  If fact, I ate dinner
there when they had the opening day at the Convocation Center, and our
waitress (Dorothy) was STILL working there - I had worked with Dorothy
over eighteen years ago,  back when I was still young, slim and had all
my hair.....LOL.  She recognized me immediately, even after all these
years.

This is TRULY sad news.  It was a great restaurant - with TERRIFIC
food and really DECENT prices.

According to an article in the business section of Saturday's newspaper, the Roadhouse restaurant on South Avenue has closed and is for sale.

Did crime on the south side have anything to do with the owner's decision?
