I assume you are referring to "ENTER TO LEARN - GO FORTH TO SERVE" found in the auditorium?

Do you know the significance of the plaster sculpture between LEARN and GO (a book, and what look like 2 torches at either side) in the center of the proscenium?  We were originally going to paint it, but were told not to because of some tradition.
