Yeah,  I read the part about the overhead power lines too... I can understand
if there are zoning issues there - I'm sure they could be resolved somehow...
maybe they could move the location of the parking spaces, or the lines a little
one way or the other.

Now, as for the potential "noise" issue - if this is just for moving some Doctors'
offices - and NOT an emergency room - what WOULD the noise level be?  Does
someone think they're gonna be partying in the parking lot or something?

The right of way of the power transmission lines creates a barrier between the hospital and the residential area.  I am assuming that the new building will be attached to the existing buildings, with a parking area relocated to under the power lines.  I wish the Vindy would publish the plans for projects that it reports on!
BTW this isn't for a "children's hospital".  It is to move doctors offices from another building on Market Street to this campus.

WKBN IS REPORTING THAT IT IS THE PEOPLE LIVING ON ROMAINE AVENUE THAT GOT UP THE PETITION TO STOP AKRON CHILDRENS HOSPITAL FROM BUILDING THE EXPANSION TO THEIR FACILITY. LET'S JUST HOPE THAT NONE OF THEIR CHILDREN EVER NEED TO BE ADMITTED TO ACH.
