Sorry no offense intended but of all the 7th Ward groups only one has a current internet presence so there is no way for us to see what's going on the SWCC has no internet presence and their site is as dead as can be. One other hasn't been updated since 2012. Another has been taken over by a foreign group.
I think the 7wcc is on fb, too. which ss bw is on the www? the blvd pk bw is on fb, citywatch, and foot to foot delivered handouts.

You wonderful folks could teach the 7th Ward groups a real lesson in cooperation.
THE SEVENTH WCC DOES NOT NEED A LESSON IN COOPERATION FROM OTHER CITY WIDE GRPS. THIS GRP DOES A FINE JOB WITHOUT ANYMORE  101 COOPERATION CLASSES.

Ooops, yes I meant Tod Ln.  Edited above.

Don't you mean Tod Lane? A very dear friend of mine use to live in the corner of Tod Lane and Fifth Avenue.

Crandall Park North and Upper North Heights folks work together on a lot of projects.  One of them being tomorrow, when we will be working together to clean up Crandall Park on the east side of Fifth Ave.
That part of the park is not developed and will not be as there is an abundance of vegetation and wildlife in that part of the park and we wish to leave it untouched.

However, there are some idiots who enjoy dumping tires and trash in that area also, so we'll be cleaning up that mess and planting a few trees near Ohio and Kensington.
Crandall Park South folks will join us with planting greenery, perennials, and pollinators near Fifth and Redondo, and at the Tod Pavilion on Tod Lane.

Oh I thought everyone knew that the Stambaugh Golf Course was in Youngstown. As is North Side Hospital.

But to answer your question,   the Henry Stambaugh Golf Course is split by Fifth Ave as the map shows.
Crandall Park North is on the west side of Fifth Ave and the Upper North Heights Neighborhood is on the east side of Fifth,
We jokingly claim "that side is Yours" and "this side is ours".  But, while we each claim "our side" of the property, both of our neighborhoods work together on it. :)

Peggy, as we now know, Stambaugh Golf Course is inside the city limits as defined by the map posted in another thread posted today, is that a part of Crandall Park North or Crandall Park South or some other North Side neighborhood group?

In conjunction with Youngstown's Streetscape day, and in collaboration with Treez Please
,
we will be cleaning and planting at our neighborhood island.

Work will include cutting back the overgrown grass on the 2 corners on Guadalupe, and bagging the clippings,
digging up dead annuals, laying fresh top soil, planting new perennial flowers, pollinators and greenery all the way
around the neighborhood  sign, mulch planted areas (4 areas). Bag the trash and clippings.

You will need to bring your garden tools. Peggy will supply the trash bags and cold bottled water.
PLEASE let me know if you can help.  peggy@crandallparknorth.org
Thanks in advance.
