A number of years ago, someone made a set of maps highlighting popular businesses in various parts of the city. It might be a good idea to have a map made of such areas as Midlothian Blvd. and Mahoning Avenue to show that in spite of all the negative stuff about Youngstown, it is far from dead. I'm sure that given a little thought, there are other areas that could be added to the list, and armed with this data, one of the local artists could create some posters of these areas. By using Google Street View they could get a load of real pictures to illustrate the posters.
With all the negative stuff that has been coming out of City Hall, and a number of protest groups, it would be great to see some positive stuff, and it would also help spotlight these areas and what they have to offer.
What about that idea Jay? You know some good local artists who could come up with the posters.

We are all proud of the area we live in and rightfully so, but can anyone tell us of any other main road inside the city limits that has as many and as wide a diversity of retail stores; gas stations; upscale homes and apartment complexes, churches and parks as Midlothian Blvd.?
This is not intended to put down other parts of the city, but to help build a more positive picture of just what is available inside the city limits of Youngstown.
