BG uses all sorts of links to try to make his/her case, yet can not or will not enter into any reasonable dialogue. Everyone here is quite reasonable ... we welcome reasonable debate ... but when someone will not debate an issue, showing that they stand by their position, then why should any of us take them serious. I suspect that they do not even read any of the comments to their posts, for if they did, then with reasonable give and take debate, we could all learn something, and after all, isn't that what it's all about?
It's obvious that BG opposes fracking, that is a given, there are others here who share that view, but unlike BG, they debate the issue, and while we might not agree, we respect each other, and that is what it's all about.
In BG's last post, he/she spoke about an industrial death and apparently wants to suggest that this is the norm.
We can cite many cases of industrial accidents and deaths over the year ... but do we suggest that because they occure, that the related industry is evil and should be forced out of business?
Take the accident rate in the steel industry ... railroads ... over the road trucking ... mining ... construction ... the ag industry (farming) ... public safety ... the list is endless, and we strive to reduce the accidents and deaths in order to provide a safer work place, and don't suggest that they should be shut down.

BG needs to learn a little bit of respect for the deceased.

Oh dear and Oh my, the sheer horror of it all ... Oh me and Oh my it's ... it's ... wait a minute, it's an industrial accident ... there are a myriad of industrial accidents each year, but do we shut down whole industries just because of an industrial fatality here and there? An 18 wheeler flips over killing the driver ... do we outlaw trucking? A farmer flips over his tractor pinning him ... do we ban farm tractors? A school bus hits a sheet of ice causing a chain accident ... do we ban school buses? John Doe gets his arm caught in a piece of machinery and loose that arm ... same question.
Now I know that BG will not respond to this or any other post, but hopefully people will use a wee bit of common sense and recognize the fact that industrial accidents happen no matter how careful we try to make the work place, and not use a single case to shut down whole industries.
