First Regular City Council Meeting

I have a problem with how city council communicates with the local newspaper.  On more than one occasion this past year, council committee meetings have been announced one day and then canceled the next without notice. 

Please view the agenda section on page A3 of the Wednesday, January 8, local newspaper.

Agenda Thursday

Youngstown City Council, finance committee 4:30 p.m., public utilities committee, 5:30 p.m., followed by special council meeting, council chambers, sixth floor, city hall, 26 S. Phelps St.

I think there is a communication problem between city council and the newspaper.  Fix it.

   Once again you do not have your facts straight !

               1. Finance Committee meeting at 4:30 PM
               2. Special Council meeting ,right after Finance committee
               3. Public Utilities Committee meeting at 5:30 PM to discuss upcoming sanitation contract

    Question : Did you call the council office to get your facts before you posted?

NOTICE

Youngstown City Council has now deviated from their previously announced meeting schedule.

Three meetings are now set for Thursday, January 9.

4:30 p.m.Council Finance Committee

5:30 p.m. Council Public Utilities Committee

Followed by a Special Council Meeting in Council Chambers

The first regular Youngstown City Council meeting of 2014 will be Wednesday, January 15, 5:30 p.m.
