Gripe Night

I like the idea of the mayor making himself available to hear people's concerns.  A Town Hall style
meeting a couple times a month would be great.....

the 7wcc did use tv, newspaper and fb to advertised this event. there were couple people from the east and westside  and sothside of town. gripes concerns were abt council rules and respect they show towards it residents, time of council meetings, police response times, trash and recycling, streets not paved, nepotism in appt of jobs from the mayor. he will have monthly meetings with citizens for five minutes each.

Sounds like they really weren't that interested in hearing people's gripes - otherwise they
might have done a better job in getting the word out.

Yes, this was the Gripe Night with the new mayor.  The event was mentioned on TV a few minutes before it took place.  I wish south side Forum members would post information about these events a few days in advance.
