Ox Roast & Family Fall Fest

 Two local animal charities will be holding an Ox Roast & Family Fall Festival to benefit Mahoning Valley pets and pet owners. The two organizations, A Call Fur Help and For the Dogs Animal Rescue will be hosting the family based festival to support their missions of helping valley pets in need.

The organizations are inviting the entire family-dogs too!- to attend the Ox Roast & Family Fall Fest from 12-4pm on October 19^th at Austintown Park's Paul Pogany Pavilion.
Dogs can compete in a doggy costume contest and will receive free doggy treat bags (while they last). Also, your four legged family members can enjoy the wonderful Austintown Bark Park. If you have not been there it's worth the trip!
Ox Roast Sandwichescan be purchased for $7.00 (receive a free dessert if you pre-order your tickets!). Hot cocoa, hot cider, cotton candy, hot dogs, face painting, games, costume contests, bobbing for apples, Chinese auction, bake sale, caramel apples, pumpkin decorating & much more will be available for purchase day of! Families can also have Fall Photos taken by our professional photographer with a beautiful fall background.
Get the kids a wristband for $6.00 (5.00 if you pre-order!). Wristband includes a hot dog and cup of hot cocoa, unlimited games, pumpkin decorating, entry in the costume contest, and a children's treat bag.  A surprise Disney Princess will also visit with the children during the festival.

For the Dogs' primary function is to facilitate the adoption and fostering of homeless and shelter dogs, as well as assist in veterinary billsfor foster families.  A Call Fur Help distributes pet food to impoverished Mahoning Valley pet owners who are having financial difficulties providing for their companion animals, ensuring that the pets remain in the home rather than being surrendered to a shelter.
