Deer Herd On The West Side

It's not unusual to see that many deer along Bear's Den Road considering a long stretch of the road runs along Mill Creek Park.  I live one block from Scholl Recreation Area and we frequently get deer in our back yard, although not that many at one time.


I enjoy driving through the park to get to my job in downtown Youngstown.


A few years ago a police officer had to call for back up to get some wild turkeys off Bear's Den Road near Old Furnace Road.

I saw seven dear in a yard along Bears Den Road this morning.
