A man and a woman were taken from the house for questioning in this case and another man in the house refused to talk to the media.

26 AND COUNTING
Youngstown Police are investigating a fatal shooting on the city's East Side.

Officers were called around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday to 1948 Atkinson Ave. where they found a man inside the house dead of a gunshot wound.

Officers said the body was found on the first floor of the house, and there was no evidence of forced entry.

The shooting marks the city's 26th homicide this year.
