A New Hot Dog Shop May Be Coming To The West Side

The hot dog shop will not happen.

This building will soon be the home of the Santa Fe Cafe.

It's been over one year and this hot dog shop has never opened.

The eatery may open in early February.

Yep, and now they replaced it with the new Tax Service sign...and it blocks Maggie's sign yet again.

The Paprika Cafe sign was removed on Monday, December 19.

Yea, they still need to take down that Paprika sign.

A portable sign is now out front.

I know, I was about to post a pic of the side sign...until I realized the Paprika sign is still there...I hope they take that down soon so people notice the new signs.  I kind of hope they put their own sign up on the pole as coming from the East you won't notice it unless you look at the front of the building...but those Paprika signs wouldn't make anyone look.

I hope they do a great full service dog shop.  I'd love to get a Chicago dog.  Heck, if they are making subs, they should already have cucumber on hand to make them with.

Believe it when I see it.  They've been trying to get another business in there for a while.  Last summer they had someone using it to grill out front...but you couldn't pay me to stop as it looked rather scary.
