I would have thought that the guru of newspaper archive searching (Townntalk) would have provided a link to the Vindicator article from a few years ago when the bridge was rebuilt.

For some reason I can't figure out how you do it or I'd help.

I think that after they repainted it (the bridge) a while back there was such a hugh and cry that the origional Mr. Peanuts was replaced. Perhaps Jay could fill in the details.
