Why?

Yes, Mill Creek Park does give away mulch to Mahoning County residents, but our city council would rather pay for it.

On Monday, July 30, City Council voted to spend $10,000 to purchase and deliver mulch to non-profit groups.

Was this a waste of money?

Our block watch contacted tree services and we get our mulch for FREE and have it delivered for FREE.
