A number of churches have charged "admission" for the past two or three years......

stops teenagers who come to just look for confrontations....these folks also probably spend very little when on the grounds.....

also the gate charge helps pay for security......

today's teenagers are not taught at home by their parents or guardians to be civil in public celebrations or public places.

Didn't they do that at other church festivals last year to keep large groups of trouble makers out?  If it worked or not, Don't know.

For the first time, St. Christine's Festival will be gated and there will be a $3.00 per person admission charge this year.
