Also, the problems with the law that are most at issue with the supreme court are largely the result of sloppy bill writing.  Had they actually debated this in public fo a longer period of time maybe someone would have added a severability clause or called the penalty a tax.  If either had been done obamacare would be declared constitutional.

the dems wonders why this healthcare law will go down in flames. wilson and ryan refused to have town hall meetings to discuss this imporant issue with the voters in their respective districts.

It was ridiculous how Congress threw together a 2000 page bill and then kept it hidden until a couple of hours before it came up for a vote in the first place, then held the vote open until they got enough votes for its passage.

As I understand it, the answer would be "no," because that is a state issue.

What angers me is the undisputable fact that the Democrats have been robbing the Social Security Trust Fund and Medicare lo these many years and stuffing IOU's into the programs vaults with no effort being made to pay them back ... IOU's heaped upon IOU's.

A million here, a million there ... ship them out some treasury notes ... and before those notes come due ... take out another couple of million dollars then try to convince the people that its the Republicans that want to stiff the seniors. The truth of the matter is that SSI is being treated like the Democrats political slush fund for their reelection.

OBAMACARE MAY BE DECLARED UNCONSTITUTIONAL BT SCOTUSA

After three days of historic Supreme Court debate, the political world and the health-related industries are confronting the consequences that could ensue if the Obama administration's health-care law is struck down, a move that would upend years of planning by businesses and potentially play a defining role in the November elections.
A complete wipeout of the law would force insurers to ditch changes to their businesses designed to bring in millions of new customers. Provisions that have already gone into effect, including letting children stay on their parents' insurance plans until they turn 26, would no longer be required by law.
At the same time, billions of dollars in cuts to Medicare payments would be halted, as would a host of new taxes aimed at health companies.
It's impossible to predict how the court will rule, but skepticism from key justices heightened the possibility that President Barack Obama's 2010 health overhaul could be overturned in June, when the court is set to announce its opinion.
To CNN senior legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin, the questioning by justices Wednesday signaled they are ready to invalidate the individual mandate, a step he said could put the entire law in jeopardy.
"I think the individual mandate is gone, based on the questioning," Toobin said after the morning session. "It sure looks like there are at least five votes to get rid of ... the individual mandate."
