NEO Clean Energy Network meeting
Lordstown Wind Turbines: A Project Update

Speaker: Ron Barnhart, Planning & Zoning Administrator, Village of Lordstown
Date: Tuesday, May 31, 2011
Time: 7-8:30 p.m.
Place: Kent State University Trumbull Campus, Technology Building, Room 117
Cost: Free

Ron Barnhart, Planning & Zoning Administrator for the Village of Lordstown, is
the featured speaker for the next Clean Energy Network Meeting in Trumbull
County on Tuesday, May 31, 2011, from 7-8:30 p.m. Barnhart will explain the
decision-making and implementation process for the installation of two wind
turbines recently installed on Village property. The meeting will be held in
Room 117 of the Kent State University Trumbull Campus Technology Building, 4314
Mahoning Avenue, NW. The meeting is free and open to the public.

Also on the evening's program are Kathy Zook, Program Manager for the Eastgate
Regional Council of Governments, and Greg Courtney, Wind Turbines of Ohio.
Lordstown Village received partial funding for the wind turbine project through
Eastgate, and Wind Turbines of Ohio received the contract to install the
equipment. The turbines are connected to the local utility power grid, meaning
any excess electricity being produced is fed back to the grid and other
electricity consumers, resulting in lower electric bills for the Village.
