Raising Chickens

Jay, I know you are not slow but remember my fight with the City about aquaculture and permits?  We won, you do not need a permit to farm, raising livestock is farming, just make sure that you do not violate your neighbors rights and the chickens become a nuisance.  But by all means let "makers and producers" exist.

Several residents of Youngstown are interested in raising backyard chickens.  I know there is some type of city ordinance prohibiting this.  Is it worth trying to get an exemption in light of the city shrinking in population and becoming more rural looking in some areas?
