I noticed several Forum members both on stage and in the audience.

One time on Thursday night for dress rehearsal and a quick run through today before the concert.
That includes the band members too.  Was it ok?  Couldn't tell from my perspective.
A little worried about your question. The finale song had so many people singing different parts at the same time. It was very challenging to sing.
Those kids are outstanding!

I enjoyed the concert.

Question
Prior to today's concert, how many times did the combined chorus practice together?

On April 10, 2011, over 300 local choristers and several musicians will join together to promote peace. Stambaugh Chorus will be the host of a choral event titled "Giving Voice to Peace" at Stambaugh Auditorium. Joining Stambaugh Chorus will be members of the Stambaugh Youth Band, The Youngstown Connection, The Dana Symphonic Choir, Beatitude House Children's Choir, Youngstown State Gospel Choir, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Men's Chorus,  and Austintown Fitch High  Concert School. Each group will share their talents and their interpretation of Peace. A finale will include all singers under the direction of Hae Jong Lee. Gary Sexton of WYSU-FM will preside as Master of Ceremonies. In addition to the choral production, local high schools in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana Counties have been invited to participate in an art and essay competition. The students are also asked to express their perceptions of Peace. Local dignitaries will present awards to the winners of each contest on the day of the concert. Sponsorships for this event by local businesses and foundations are welcomed. For more information, please call Maxina Gohlke at 330 881- 9517 or Kellie Mather at 330 509-9775. If you are an educator or student and need more information about the contests, you can also send an email to art-essay@stambaughchorus.org.
