Kick off to National Poetry Month
5th Annual School Art Exhibition
"A Real Life Experience"

On Friday, April 1, 2011, the Art Outreach Gallery at the Eastwood Mall in Niles, Ohio, will kick off National Poetry Month with the 5th Annual School Art Exhibition featuring artwork by local kindergarten through 12th grade students. Due to the overwhelming response to exhibit students artwork in the Gallery at the Mall, the Gallery Board of Directors and the Eastwood Mall Management has provided a second storefront to exhibit students' artwork.  The second storefront is located across the hall from the current Gallery along the Sears concourse. The Gallery has exhibited over 17,000 pieces of preschool through 12th grade students' artwork since its inception November 2006.

The show will feature students' artwork from Trumbull Career and Technical Center, Howland 6th grade and 8th grade, Hubbard School District and McDonald School District. The Gallery will also feature a display of the winning poems from the Pig Iron Literary and Arts Works Poetry Contest. This is the second of four consecutive art shows. The show is scheduled April 1 through April 17, 2011.
