Title: Downtown Restaurant Advantage
Post by: jay on January 31, 2006, 10:10:07 PM
A downtown Youngstown restaurant has one advantage over its suburban counterpart.   A customer does not have to stand in line to be seated.

That sure is a fact!  Maybe the owners should wake up, Quit complaining, and promote their business in a way that will let customers know that fact.!

Talk up Youngstown!

Went with a group of 8 to a hockey game last Saturday. We wanted to try out the new Cafe Cimmento. The place was closed at 5:00pm. How can a business with a prime location be closed on an event night?? They listed their hours as 8:00 to 2:30 on Saturday. How many people are possibly downtown on a Saturday between 8 and 2:30??

It is just incredible. They need to get the guy from Jolly Joe's down there. At least he would be open on event nights

Cafe Cimmento is open now Monday through Saturday (with the kitchen being open until 10pm and the bar later).  The hours were restricted a little bit until they had their grand opening, which was on March 16th.  You should have no problem with the hours now.  I recommend that you go and dine there. They have great food and atmosphere!!!
