A clerk at the Breaden Market was found shot to death on Tuesday. The store is on Overland Avenue on the city's south side.
This was homicide number 22 for 2010.
Over half of the homicides have been on the south side of the city.

The victim. a father of two young boys, was filling in for the store owner at the time of the killing. The boys are now orphans. Their mother died of a heart attack this past year.
