Title: Black Friday In The Food Court In Downtown Youngstown
Post by: jay on November 26, 2010, 02:55:53 PM
This photo of the Food Court at 20 Federal Place was taken shortly after noon on Friday, November 26.  Four of the five eateries were closed.  The only restaurant open was Pizza Joe's.  Government workers had the day off and many businesses closed for the long Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

We will know that Youngstown has turned the corner economically when Black Friday
brings thousands of workers and shoppers to downtown Youngstown.

Huh?  Downtown is the office district. Get over the dream of retail in downtown.  Isn't going to happen.

With so few customers, I'de be surprised if the pizza shop would be open next year on the day after Thanksgiving.
