After an overnight fire, this all that remains of a vacant brick house in the 100 block of South Hazelwood . This area is part of the Rocky Ridge Neighborhood.
Before 11:00 a.m., a city demolition crew arrived to topple the brick walls for safety reasons.
It has been almost two months since the fire. The rubble filled basement is still there. Neighbors on Hazellwood don't understand why the city never completed the job of clearing the debris and filling the basement with dirt.
