Title: What did all of the indicted county officeholders have in common?
Post by: Rick Rowlands on August 02, 2010, 10:17:48 PM
They are all Democrats!  Maybe its time that the tradition of blindly electing Democrats to public office fall by the wayside and some intelligent thought put into your votes.

How many more times do we have to deal with these corruption scandals before we as a valley wake up?

Is it any surprise that all the indicted officeholders in this area are democrats? I bet that most of the UNindicted officeholders are also democrats.

A quick Google search of republican corruption will show that they have their share bad guys too.

You are talking National politics.  I am discussing local.  We all know that the Democrat "good old boys" club exists and is thriving in local government.  Time to break it up and maybe try some new ideas.

I wonder if your argument that "republicans are no angels either" is an attempt at an excuse for the behavior of the Democrats.

RR did i hit a raw nerve? ;D RR i will never make excuses for the local, state and federal officeholders in either parties except the honest Green Party candidates from this great state of Ohio. RR the "good ole boys" club exist in all political parties. Mah cty has the democrats and Columbiania has the republicans "good ole boys" club. RR the good ole boys club will always exist with the powers to be that are in controlled. is it right? no that is the reason why i vote for the individual not the political party's choice.

Actually what they all have is common is that they fought against the purchase of the old South Side Hospital.  Do you all think that was a good use of the taxpayers money??

shar they did not give an alternative plan to the old ss hospital purchase for a new government bldg. i only heard from a very few, few disgruntled employees that are working at the ole ss hospital. the majority of the employees are happy and content with their commutations at their new work place. the people who are involved in this ct case, they are their own worse enemy. i do not feel bad about their allotment in their political/personal career.
