Mahoning Valley Slovak Festival
Fifth Annual

Sunday, August 8
11:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Polka Mass at 11:30 a.m.
Polka Fest,  Dancing,
Eddie Vallus Band (1:00 - 3:00 p.m.)
Del Sinchak Band (4:00 - ?)

Slovak Food Inside
Noon - 3:00 p.m.
(Lamb, Chicken, or Holubky Dinners)

Gas Card Raffle  ($2,000 worth)

Also, for the future, next spring in Youngstown, there will be a "Simply Slavic" festival which will feature all ethnic groups that are of Slavic background. This would include the Slovaks, Rusyns (Ruthenians), Czechs, Poles, Ukrainians, Russians, Slovenians, Croatians. I am probably forgetting a few.
