What's round on both ends
and hi in the middle?
OHIO
An artist at the North Side Farmers' Market was selling this T-shirt on Saturday. It was created by L.A. Graphics of Youngstown, printed in Youngstown, and is on an American Made T-shirt.
Hopefully they will have them next weekend.
My brother works for Nautica. While he doesn't have an office at their headquarters, he's high enough up their ladder to know all about clothing that's "Made in the USA" and clothing "Made in Someothercountry".
The" Made in the USA" label can only be attached to clothing actually stitched together in the USA. All too often, the higher cost of being stitched together here dictates that lower quality materials be used. Where do these lower quality materials come from? Generally, NOT from the USA.
Now obviously he can't speak for anyone but Nautica, but their clothes are stitched together in foreign countries using all high quality materials made in the USA. They are not permitted to attach the "Made in the USA" label even though a large percentage (80+) of the manufacturing costs stay right here and keep several USA supplier factories in business as opposed to just one shop stitching foreign materials.
Which is better?
I'm for the product which employs the most United States citizens to make the fabric, sew the garment, create the design, and print the T-shirt.
