The 9 TH LANSINGVILLE 4 TH OF JULY PARADE
will be on SATURDAY The 3 RD of JULY 2010 beginning at 11:30 AM
Starting at St. Matthias parking lot to Cornell to Zedaker to East Indianola to Taft to Murry to Adams School parking lot for the Gathering, about a quarter of a mile.
Something of interest this year to watch out for (corner of East Indianola and Hunter - North West side) is the SAANDI "Blight to Light" Project - these particular paintings over an "eye sore" building were done by the East High School Art Club. Also
another building across the street and up (East) two lots (right on the sidewalk) are two other Art Boards (the Eastern most and largest is done in the style of Jackson Pollock (although it looks like a bunch of paint dripped and drabbed across the surface ::))
As you turn the corner from Zedaker please take a look at our Lansingville sign - an on going 7 TH Ward Citizens Coalition project to recognize and confirm a neighborhood's Identity.
You may also note a few more visible signs of Patriotism along the route ;) 8)
