Title: People of Note
Post by: Towntalk on May 15, 2010, 11:03:22 PM
I've just finished uploading 69 portraits of local people of note in my Webshots site.

It's in the folder People of Note.

Enjoy

16 more noteable Youngstowners from the past have been added bringing the total to 85 so far, and many more will be coming.

Did you post a photo for George J. Renner Jr ?

I want to put something in the Biographies section of the website
about him, and I found a good clear photo of him .

I'm also looking for a good, clear photo of John R. Squire  - the funeral
home in the mansion on Broadway was his residence in the early 20th
century and he used to operate a saw mill where Wick Park is now
located.  I think I read somewhere that he leased the land from the
Wick family before they donated it to the city.

No, I don't have a picture of Renner. I only have his bio. in Sanderson's book.
