:) Three cheers to V&M Star. They announced that in building the new facility, they will use union labor. :)
This is great news for the building trades.

I wonder why excluding non-union workers is such a great thing.
Me too, especially when the production workers are non union.
I've never observed where paying a portion of your income to some union granted you special powers that makes you better than someone who does not pay those dues.
I have a different take on the V&M Star Deal. Read my take here:

Personally, I think my take on it seems to make way too much sense. Of course people like the Green Machine on this forum will be against what I am proposing.
YTown News, you are right on, two years ago, I met with D'avignon and spoke with him about providing the landbank for gas exploration, nothing. The V&M deal just closes the deal on what many of us businessmen in the Valley have known for years, gas under our land is the future. And on top of the land, aquaculture is the future, this will become common knowledge soon also. Just think if the MVOC and CDA , had this as a HUD plan when they put their hand out. "We need the HUD funding because we are going to drill for gas and grow shrimp, we will then make enough revenue to pay the government back, DUH!" Our leaders forget the first rule of intelligence, "be smart enough to know when you don't know." And, ask the experts for help!
Here's a tip, OHIO VALLEY ENERGY is the largest drillers of natural gas locally, they own their own rig I understand, do you know who owns them?
