An event took place that saw much of East Youngstown's (Campbell) business district burnt to the ground.

I believe it was the 1937 Little Steel Strike ?

No. It was many years before that.

Oh, Oh!!! In 1916 a Youngstown Sheet and Tube Riot and sparked the riot and workers burned down the district!

Although the focus of the strike was Youngstown Sheet and Tube, interestingly none of the YS&T's property was damaged. The strikers burned down their own houses and businesses.
