I've always liked turning on "The Christmas Story" marathon on Christmas Eve, and leaving the TV on overnight. As I go in and out of deep sleep overnight, I catch different parts of the movie.
Also, as I said in another thread, a tradition I have for myself is putting up outside Christmas lights while they are blowing the old steam-whistles at the B&O. It makes me think what my neighborhood was like when the whistles were serving their original purpose.
i watch the Christmas Day Mass from the Vatican every Christmas Eve/early Christmas morning due to the six hrs difference in time zones. i also watch the Glen Miller movie on Christmas Eve too. my frds and me dance to the music while the movie is being shown.
