Thinking that having May Day in April is weird, I looked up The Calvin Center and this particular event where I found the word "Beltane" which I also had to look up:

"Beltane is a Pagan holiday, also known as May Day, that marks the transition from spring to summer. It is celebrated on May 1st and is associated with fertility, bonfires, and celebrating the abundance of the season. Historically, it was a significant festival in Ireland, Scotland, and the Isle of Man, according to Wikipedia."

It's also kinda weird that the Calvin Center had to add "climate justice, human rights, and social justice to their May Day celebration, as if the world was going to end by whenever Al Gore, Greta Thunberg and others have claimed it would many times.

FWIW, human rights, and social justice are pretty much two names for the same thing, both of which are pretty much doing exactly what they're meant to do in this country and have been since the Civil Rights Act way back in 1964. People that want to fix stuff like that should go try their hand in several other countries where there is no such thing.
