The City of Youngstown, Mahoning County Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Youngstown Peace are teaming up to host the Downtown Youngstown Ethnic Heritage OKTOBERFEST on Sunday October 4th following the Youngstown Peace Race at 11am to 6pm. The event will include:
Latin, Hungarian, Greek, Irish and German food.
6 of the regions finest Breweries: Rust Belt Brewing Co. (Youngstown) / Thirsty Dog (Akron) / Churches Brew Works (PA)/ Brew Kettle (Strongsville) and more.
Local Ethnic and Traditional music from: Bouzoukeetime (Greek) County Mayo (Irish) Groupo Invision (Latin) and Youngstowns own Geo C and the Storm (Funk)
SUNDAY OCTOBER 4TH 2009 DOWNTOWN (Stage will be set up on East Federal between Reality Bld and BW3S) 11am-6pm. :)

Thanks for including these ethnic groups. In the past, one or two nationalities seemed to dominate the festivals in the downtown area.
no problem thank you, I'm hoping that next year we can get the Serbian, Middle Eastern, Asian, Lebanese, Slovak, Polish etc... to join.
