Monday, August 29, after 10:30 a.m.
This happened at the corner of Mahoning Avenue and Schenley.
I was heading west on Mahoning Avenue but had to stop for the traffic light at Schenley to make a left turn. A woman on a motorcycle heading east was also making a left turn to head north.
The light turned green, so she began to make her left turn when suddenly she hit the curb and toppled the motorcycle. She was dumped onto the sidewalk. I immediately changed my direction and drove past to see if she was OK. She said that she was all right.
Not wearing a helmet and if traveling at a higher speed, she could have sustained serious injuries.
