There was a town hall meeting today dealing with the closure of 20 Federal Place.
No one from the city administration chose to attend. :P
The sad thing is the tenants, who are being forced to move, were not given help or guidance from the city.
Watch the TV news tonight for coverage of this meeting.
According to a report on WKBN the city is bringing in a company from St. Louis to help the tenants relocate. Aren't the local realtors capable of doing that?
I know for a fact several tenants have already reached out on their own to other downtown landlords looking for space.
The food establishments will be more difficult to relocate.
I agree.
The restaurants will have a difficult time trying to find another suitable restaurant location in downtown Youngstown.
Also, once a restaurant moves, I doubt the restaurant would want to incur the expense of moving back to 20 Federal Place.
