I had a short conversation with a west side store operator today. He mentioned that his supplier raised the price on one food item and told him to do the same. The store operator said he would not raise the sale price at this time. I said, "Thank You".
I'm totally on the store owner's side. If he's making enough money that the added cost won't hurt him, good for him, AND great for his customers.
I'm curious as to what that food item is. Maybe he sells so many it doesn't matter. Maybe he sells so few it doesn't matter.
I'd also like to know who that supplier is because telling someone to raise their prices because they (the supplier) raised theirs seems kinda sketchy to me. DO AS I SAY!!
