Found a pair of scissors today while taking a walk on the west side.
The scissors actually come apart.
This type of scissor is used in kitchens. It comes apart so it can be easily cleaned.
Scissors like that should be outlawed.
The main reason it could come apart might very well be to make it easy to clean. Unfortunately we can never be sure that someone didn't have it so they could take apart really quick and use each half separately to defend theirself. Even worse, we'll also never know if or when it will be used by someone that creates the need for someone else to defend theirself.
I was asked if there was a manufacturers stamp on the scissors.
One half has the name Cutco on it.
I looked up these Super Shears on the Cutco website.
I was amazed to learn the retail price.

Holy Cow!! :o
I think you found the Rolls Royce of scissors!!
I wonder if there is a reward being offered.
I forgot to mention this. I found the scissors on the street. They had been run over by many cars. The only damage were scuff marks on the plastic coating on the handles.
Everyone is lucky that none of those many cars ended up with a flat tire, because I bet those scissors would have disappeared in some poor fashion if that were the case.
It does sound like that Rolls Royce could use an automotive detailer to bring it back to it's former value.
