It seems that the safety committee meeting is usually about trying to blame the police chief for every little thing. He can't fix society by himself. He also can't effectively police it when the city won't hire enough officers. Also, the ones he does have get low pay, do dangerous work, and are blamed for everything by the rest of the city government. I know a few officers and the money they make for what they have to do is unbelievable, and then they get called names by council members.
