Work has begun on the repaving of South Hazelwood. The old pavement has been ground down.
What length of the road is being redone, all of it?
Perhaps while they are doing this they can implement something to slow cars passing the school.
It appears that they will repave from Wilcox south to Chaney High School and then from Ridgelawn south to McCollum Road.

The actual repaving is being done today.
Traffic can not travel south from Wilcox.
The new pavement is so smooth that children are now rollerblading on it.

Today, a work crew was leveling the manhole covers and using tar tp reseal the edges of the road at the curbs.
You should have seen the tool used to cut a circle in the asphalt around the manhole. After the hole was cut, cement was then added.
I believe they have a few more manholes to finish.
If you have a chance, view the project on Monday.
Here is a video about a piece of equipment that may have been used to cut the pavement around the manholes.
