Title: Ron Verb Show
Post by: Elmo-Ytown on August 29, 2020, 03:36:38 PM
Gee boy did Rob Verb lose it on a fellow on yesterday's show! The caller, about 45 minutes before the end of the show, accused him of shutting down people who's opinion he doesn't like. Since he can't curse on the air, he sure did dig deep to come up with some names to use on this fella. He yelled so much it sounded like he was loosing his voice!

Do you think Ron shuts down callers to quickly when he doesn't agree with them?

Do think that? No.

From what I've heard he does his best to let the callers that disagree state their opinions/ideas/whatevers.

His does end end calls earlier than a caller would prefer for three different reasons that I've noticed:

1) The subject of the call is way off topic.

2) Sometimes commercial breaks get in the way.

3) The caller prefers to lecture instead of a back and forth discussion.

After thinking about #3, sometimes the caller will hang up themself because they don't want to hear anything but what they want to say.
