Title: Who Is Responsible For This Bridge?
Post by: jay on August 18, 2020, 08:33:40 PM
Chatter on the Rocky Ridge Facebook page

A few people are complaining that brush and weeds are taking over the bridge on McCollum Road just east of number 15 fire station.
Calls have been made to the city, the county and to the Mayor of Youngstown.  There has not been any action on the problem so far.

Yes, it was trimmed up a few days ago.

It took calls to the mayor to get things moving.

If i lived near that bridge I would have went out there and done the trimming with some very loud music and a few beers.

My main reason for the music and beer would be so someone would call someone somewhere to make a complaint about me which would lead some union leader to come try and set me straight about how I'm taking their job and need to stop. I also hope I could get the TV news there just before the union guy showed up.

Better yet, maybe I need to figure out how to make a potato phone video for YouTube so i can tape it myself.
