On Thursday July 30th it is Medicare's 44th
birthday. To celebrate, the Leadership Conference for Guaranteed
Health Care is planning a single payer rally in Washington, DC. This
is an important event as it is the biggest single payer event scheduled in
Washington,
DC this summer. It is crucial that we get as many people there as
possible.
Bob Parker from Cleveland and Debbie Silverstein,
Regional Coordinator for Region 6, are trying to put together a bus
package to DC for the rally. We need commitments from 40 people to ride the bus
and participate in the rally. Cost would be approximately $50.
