I found my first Japanese Beetle today, Saturday, June 27.

I placed new bait in the beetle trap and then stepped away for about 5 minutes.  When I returned, I had already caught my first Japanese Beetle.

By this evening, I caught about 60 Japanese Beetlrs in the trap.

I'm catching a lot of beetles.
Some are attracted to marigolds in another part of my yard.

BE CAREFUL!!

I'm catching a few hundred beetles each day.

I went to the hardware store to buy more beetle bait.  They had sold out!!!

I haven't caught a Japanese Beetle for two weeks.  It it time to take down the traps and put them away until next summer.
