Post by: mic100 on June 23, 2009, 01:17:04 PM
Canfield Rotary for the 2nd year is hosting FREE Fireworks Saturday, July 4, at the Canfield Fairgrounds in Canfield. The gates open at 5pm with Fireworks around 10. Parking is free and there will be free entertainment including Karaoke by Shooting Star, JD Eicher & The Goodnights performing at 6pm and The House Band at 7:30pm.

There will be Bounce A-rounds, Bungee Run, Obstacle Course and a 24 foot dry slide for the kids. Bring your favorite picnic foods or there will be food vendors with delicious "fair type" food.

A new feature this year will be a Firecracker Poker Run with motorcyclist leaving at 4pm and returning at 7pm.

Sunday, July 5, will be the rain date if necessary.

So bring your family and friends and head out to the Canfield Fairgrounds for the area's best Fireworks Display!

i always enjoyed the canfield 4th of July festivities starting with their morning parade. this villiage knows how to celebrate this day of freedom, not like ytown, where the city administration and school board refused any permits to host the only fourth of July parade in that city until a group of individuals came up with 385.00 dollars insurance monies for a parade that is five blocks long and the parade last ten minutes. is this part of the 2010 plan to squash people's freedoms?
