The Ohio State Highway Patrol says that there will be an OVI checkpoint this week.  The checkpoint's date, time and location have yet to be announced.  Troopers remind drivers to consume alcohol responsibly and to make travel arrangements before drinking any alcoholic beverages.  OVI checkpoints are funded by federal grants and are conducted to help deter and intercept impaired drivers.
