Is the closing of a portion of Loveland considered shrinking the city as proposed in the Youngstown 2010 Plan?
It is as I see it. Loveland Rd. was a very important street when all the mills were in operation.
Workers needed several routes to get home after their work shift was over. For the residents of
that area there several other routes to get to Poland Ave . We have closed approx. 600 feet of
the road. This will allow for the elimination of illegal activities, and the end of city services, such
road repairs, snow plowing and the elimination of 2 street lights.
